The
nearest beach resorts to Casares del Sol development are Estepona
to the east and Sabinillas to the west, both less than a ten minute
drive. The development is also is close to the celebrated Puerto
de la Duquesa and only a short distance from the ports of Estepona,
Puerto Banus and Sotogrande. Driving up the road from the apartment
away from the coast into the mountains you soon come to the picture
postcard white village of Casares perched on the side of a mountain.

Casares
del Sol is a forty-five minute drive from Malaga whose airport serves
most of Europe and half an hour from Gibraltar which has daily flights
from the UK. The province of Andalucia is is steeped in history
and culture with Roman ruins and Moorish palaces, museums and galleries,
cathedrals and churches. Driving up into the mountains, with their
cobbled streets and white washed houses. Casares village is one
of the quieter ones, offering tranqulity and wonderful views for
those wanting to get away from the busy tourist trail. Others, such
as Mijas, near Malaga give you the opportunity to enjoy the bustle
of a tourist centre with its shops, splendid restaurants, donkey
rides and an open-air theatre. |
